CAMDEN MBB FALL IN NORTH ATLANTIC DISTRICT 1ST ROUND
Cougars finish the season 17-13 (12-6) overall
Blackwood, NJ -- Cougars fall on the road to Montco, ending season
#6 CCC MBB (17-13) saw its season end Thursday night, suffering an 85-65 loss to #3 Montgomery County Community College (20-4) in the North Atlantic District Playoffs/Region XIX Tournament-First Round.
The short-handed Cougars had a hard time creating any positive momentum on either side of the floor, which allowed the Mustangs to seize control and create a lead that they would ultimately never concede.
Going into the break, the Cougars scored just 16 points – their lowest point total in any half of play this entire season.
However, in the second half, Camden came out with the requisite level of intensity and focus, outscoring Montgomery 49-43. They fought hard until the very end and showcased their grit and tough mentality, a calling card for the Cougars all regular season.
Despite the continued effort and energy from the Cougars, the deficit proved too much to overcome as the Mustangs secured the 85-65 victory. They will now face off against top-ranked Salem Community College in the Championship round.
With the loss, Camden County College Men's Basketball concludes its 2025-26 campaign with a 17-13 (12-6 GSAC) overall record.
Congratulations to Sophomore's, Cam Rembert, Mikey Campbell, Charlie Labarre & Anthony Edwardi on their careers. Camden County College thanks them for their service to the College and wish them all the best moving forward.
