Cougars Take 3rd at GSAC Championship!

Going into Sunday it looked as though the Cougars of Camden CC would be bringing home this years GSAC Championship. Unfortunately, the Roadrunners of RCSJ-Gloucester had other plans for the Cougars. The Cougars had received the #1 overall seed for the Conference Championship and had been dominate all season until Sunday morning. In the first match of the day the #1 Cougars faced #4 Roadrunners and the Cougars came out flat and were defeated by the Roadrunners 32-21. In the 3rd place match later in the day the Cougars squared off with the Owls of Union CC and found their winning ways with a dominate performance in route to a 42-11 victory and claiming 3rd place in the Conference Tournament.

The Cougars will now look to regroup and prepare for the NJCAA Region XIX / NJCAA Eastern District Championship that is set for Saturday, February 19th at Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA. This Championship is also the qualifiers for the 2022 NJCAA National Championship Tournament.
