Cougars Dominate in Home Season Finale!

On a Saturday afternoon, on a day that saw a full slate of home athletic events, the Wrestling Team took center stage to finish the day off. In the home season finale the Cougars hosted Thaddeus Stevens and Union County College. The Cougars went 2-0 on the day in dominating fashion defeating Thaddeus 44-12 and Union 43-10. The Cougars improved to 5-0 on the season in Dual Matches and showed why they are a Nationally Ranked Program.

Shane Whitney and David Barber each went 2-0 on the day with 2 pins each. Joseph Teguia and Jesse Keesal each went 2-0 as well. The Cougars will now begin to prep and gear up for the GSAC Championship followed by the Region XIX and District Championships in hopes of bringing some hardware back to the Cougar Den and seeing how many tickets they can punch for the 2022 NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
