Lady Cougars (3-5) stall at home
Blackwood, NJ -- Lady Cougars drop contest against Cape, continue tough stretch
Camden County College women's basketball team (3-5) came up short against Atlantic Cape CC (5-1) 63-36 in a tough matchup against a formidable opponent. The setback marks the fourth straight loss for the Lady Cougars.
After a tight 1Q in which CCC were just down two points, the 2nd and 3rd quarters proved to be the turning point in the game as the Lady Cougars struggled to find consistent offense, producing 6 points in both quarters combined.
Although the Lady Cougars came out in the 4th with improved play on both ends, scoring 14 points to Cape's 15 – the deficit was still simply too much to overcome.
