Camden County College Men's Soccer turned in a dominant road performance this weekend, defeating County College of Morris 8-2 in a high-scoring matchup that showcased the Cougars' growing cohesion and offensive firepower.
Freshman forward Vasco Perdiz led the charge, scoring two goals in the first half and setting the tone early for a Cougars team that applied pressure from the outset. Camden County built a 4-0 lead by halftime, with additional goals from Juan Perelli and Miguel Bontorim.
In the second half, the Cougars continued their offensive attack, as Vasco Perdiz added his third goal of the matchup for this second hat trick of the season. Sophomore Juan Perelli also found the net again for his second goal which extended his scoring streak to three games in a row. Freshman forwards Markiyan Zayarnyy & David Mestre contributed with one goal each. Rinze Muis assisted on three of the eight total goals scored, which brings his season total to six - leading Region XIX. Quam Dickson was able to contribute here as well with two assists of his own.
The win improves Camden County's overall record to 4-0-1, as they remain atop NJCAA Region XIX standings.
The Cougars return home tomorrow to host RCSJ-Cumberland (0-4-1). Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM at Gloucester Township Park.
