Cougars men's basketball start the season 4-0 for first time in 9 years
Blackwood, NJ -- Cougars win tight matchup against Thaddeus Stevens College of Tech
The Camden County College men's basketball team continued its hot streak on Saturday, grinding out a hard-fought 60-58 win over Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to secure its fourth consecutive victory.
The win marks the first time the Cougars start off a season 4-0 in 9 years.
In a game defined by defensive pressure and late-game composure, Camden County held off multiple runs from Thaddeus Stevens and delivered key plays in the final minutes. Strong rebounding and timely scoring allowed the Cougars to maintain a narrow edge down the stretch, ultimately sealing the tight win.
Second year Forward, Cam Rembert (Philadelphia, PA) registered a double-double in the win, delivering quite the performance. Cam's presence was felt in multiple areas as he finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
The result marks Camden County's fourth straight triumph, showcasing the team's growing confidence and ability to close out close contests. With momentum building, the Cougars look to carry this winning energy into their upcoming conference matchups this week.
All eyes will be on the Cougars as they travel to Pennsylvania Tuesday evening to take on Montgomery CC for their first true road game of the season. Tip-off is slated for 7pm.
