Bio
Boye Akinsiku brings a wealth of coaching and athletic leadership experience to Camden County College, where he is committed to fostering the growth and development of student-athletes both on and off the playing surface. His career encompasses a broad spectrum of athletic environments, including NCAA Division I, II, and III programs.
In 2018, Boye began his coaching journey at Fairleigh Dickinson University, serving as a Graduate Manager for the Men’s Basketball team. During the 2018–19 season, the Knights made a historic run, capturing the 2019 NEC Tournament title and earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament, culminating in the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament victory.
At Fairleigh Dickinson University, Boye also served as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach (Florham Campus) and Director of Basketball Operations (Metro Campus). As Dir. Of Ops, Boye managed budgets, compliance, travel logistics, recruiting, alumni relations and academics. He has also spent time at Goldey-Beacom College and the City College of New York as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, mentoring and developing student athletes through instruction and player development. During his time at FDU (Metro) and CCNY, Boye was a part of coaching staffs that developed two Rookie of the Year recipients.
Beyond coaching, Boye has been deeply committed to youth development; previously serving as Director of Athletics at the high school interscholastic level, providing leadership in athletics, while also supporting academic and social growth. His work in athletics is consistently rooted in a mission to empower student-athletes, build strong communities, and expand opportunities through sport. He is also an Analyst with HD Intelligence, a premier sports-analytics company where he uses advanced data metrics to support Division I Men’s Basketball programs with scouting insights and performance evaluation.
As an alumnus of Middlesex College, Boye is thrilled play a role in the advancement of two-year institutions, a community that has played a significant role in his coaching and administrative career:

I also want to give back to a community that has given so much to me and assist student-athletes with their transitions to four-year universities." Boye hopes he can encourage more student-athletes to consider the community college route in the future.
As Asst. Director, he is deeply committed to both academics and athletics, viewing each as a powerful tool to support and inspire student-athletes. He leverages his passion and experience to guide student-athletes through their academic and athletic journeys; helping them overcome challenges, stay focused, and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Boye possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from William Paterson University and a Master’s degree in Sport Administration with a Coaching Theories and Strategies Certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metro.
